About us

SG Parent Guide exists to help parents in Singapore plan the cost of a child and choose a preschool with clear, accurate, up-to-date information. Our figures come from primary sources — ECDA, the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), the CPF Board, MOM, IRAS and the Ministry of Health — and every amount carries an "as of" date.

Who runs this site

SG Parent Guide is run by a small editorial team. Our content is produced with an automated research-and-drafting pipeline and passes automated checks before publishing. We do not invent authors, parent reviews, testimonials or first-hand experiences we have not had.

What we will not do

We do not give medical advice — for your child's health, vaccinations or development, speak to your doctor, a polyclinic or HealthHub. We do not give personalised financial advice or recommend specific insurance or savings products. We do not rank or name a "best" preschool. Where we cannot verify something, we leave it out and tell you where to check.
